Free Product Hunting Practice Helium10 Edition!

Free Product Hunting Practice Helium10 Edition!!!!

Estimated Reading Time: 2-minutes

I have been observing that purchasing product hunting tools is a hot topic in this group, many want it free of cost in their early phase which makes sense because I will also recommend against purchasing tools when you are new to product hunting. So, I bring this post for my fellow newbies out there so they can practice product research on premium tools like Helium10.

Steps to get the Helium10 free trial:

Goto https://members.helium10.com/user/signup and create an account.

Proceed after creating an account and Helium10 will ask you some questions, answer those.

Install Helium10 Chrome Extension from here. https://shorturl.at/jrIN9

How to make the most of this free trial (Not explaining the use of the feature here, just sharing how to efficiently make the use of limited free trial, And will only be focusing on the features related to product hunting):

First is Black Box, comes with 20 uses in the free trial. Add your filters, download a CSV file of the results and use that file to explore the results. Why download a file? Because if a power-outage happens you will lose a use or you accidentally close the browser etc. If you download a file you can easily explore all the products, no matter what happens it will remain saved.

Cerebro, 2 uses per day in the free trial. You found a promising product? Copy the ASIN paste in Cerebro and again, save the keywords to a CSV file and explore them all with ease.

Magnet, 2 uses per day in the free trial. You found a keyword which leads to a promising product but you need more relevant keywords and explore them all? Put it in magnet and save the results in a CSV file and explore them with sukoon!!

Xray, total 50 uses in the free trial. This is the feature of the Helium10 extension we use on Amazon pages, Using this explore promising products and keywords you found through Black Box and Magnet respectively.

So here are the most basic features you will be mostly using for product research practice, efficiently use them through the method explained above so the free trial lasts for a while.

Now what happens if your free trial ends in a few days and you are still in the practicing phase? Make a new email and repeat all the steps above. It is completely ok to do that in your practicing phase because you are not earning anything, however, when your practicing phase is finished I will advise purchasing the tools.
